My name's Brittany, and I created this product for other moms like me. I first became aware of the need for floor beds before I had my own kids, when my friend Cassandra finally got her son to sleep in his own bed by putting his mattress on the floor. Now that I have two boys, I can attest to the fact that being close to the floor makes a big difference in helping kids sleep. Since my first son, Thomas, started going to Montessori preschool, I realized that there was a need for comfortable floor beds that wasn't really being filled. Little Lamb floor beds can be used with or without a mattress underneath, depending on how close to the floor your child needs to be. Are you looking for a bed/mat that won't get ruined during potty training? One of the greatest things about our floor beds is that they're machine washable. When Thomas was potty training, he destroyed two mattresses-- and those certainly don't come cheap! If you're using a Little Lamb, you can just toss it in the wash and it'll be ready to go again in no time. They're dryer safe, just use the low heat setting. Do you need a bed you can use for naps at preschool, day care, Grandma's house or while traveling? Another great thing about our beds is that they're portable. Just roll them up and take them wherever you need to go-- or, if you visit Grandma pretty often, she can easily store her own Little Lamb away for when you need it. They're certainly a lot more comfortable than those squeaky nap mats or cots you see in most day cares!
